My background and experience leads me to believe that yoga for sports should be seriously considered within a young athletes development plan, because it is far easier to teach correct alignment and technique in the first instance, and a lot less time consuming than having to undo bad habitual practices and retrain again correctly later in an athletes career.

Our 10 week development program prepares young athletes for the sport specific bio-mechanical demands required to participate at high levels in their chosen sport. The slow nature of the intervention enables the programming of neuromuscular pathways required for correct technical practice, as well as flagging up, athlete specific problems and injury risks.
We are looking for a group of sporting academy athletes from any sport, to work with us for a 10 week period.
A recognised sporting academy.
Willingness to commit to a 10 week program of 1hr 30 min sessions a week.
